Your first year in this role will be spent working within our Futurebuild event team and then you will get the opportunity to work within one of the other fantastic portfolios we have here at Easyfairs!
Futurebuild is an established event in the built environment which focuses on sustainable construction and attracts specifiers including architects, engineers, contractors and consultants.
The focus of this role is to manage the event’s PR campaign working closely with the PR agency to ensure all elements of the agreed campaign are executed adhering to the event’s core messaging and brand guidelines.
The role also involves partnership management. The successful candidate will be required to manage the communication and delivery of 80+ seminar partners who curate the Futurebuild seminar content which includes industry bodies and associations.
The candidate will also assist in the management and execution of the full visitor and exhibitor marketing campaign.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensuring the Futurebuild core values and vision messaging is integrated in all exhibitor and visitor communications
- Managing our PR campaign and working alongside our PR agency to create press releases, blogs, interviews
- Establishing relationships and managing partnerships with industry associations and media
- Supporting the marketing team exhibitor and visitor marketing campaign delivery
- Playing a key role to ensure the smooth running of the event on-site
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent copywriting and proofing skills
- Confident on the telephone with a personable & helpful manner
- Excellent IT skills especially with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently with the confidence to make decisions
- Ability to meet simultaneous deadlines and work under pressure
- Competent use of most Microsoft Office products
- High attention to detail
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working on PR campaigns and with PR agencies
- Copywriting experience within events
- Experience managing partnerships
- General experience of B2B events
- Passionate about Net Zero and ideally sustainable construction
