We’re looking for a motivated Sales Executive / Manager (DOE) to join the Futurebuild team and help grow our exhibition and sponsorship revenues.

The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Executive / Manager to join the Futurebuild team and help grow our exhibition and sponsorship revenues. This is a target-driven role where you’ll combine consultative sales skills with a passion for sustainability, innovation, and the built environment. You’ll work closely with exhibitors, sponsors, and partners to understand their objectives and create tailored solutions that maximise their ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively sell exhibition space, sponsorship, and digital packages to new and existing clients.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through research, prospecting, and networking.
- Conduct client meetings (phone, video, face-to-face) to understand needs and present tailored opportunities.
- Work with the Sales Director to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM (salesforce) systems.
- Support onsite rebook activity and ensure maximum floorplan occupancy.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to deliver a seamless exhibitor experience.
- Represent Futurebuild at industry events, networking with key decision-makers.
About You
- Proven B2B sales experience (events/exhibitions ideal, but open to other sectors).
- Target-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Consultative sales approach – able to listen, problem-solve, and build long-term partnerships.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage your own pipeline and workload.
- Interest in sustainability and innovation within the built environment is highly desirable
- Understanding of Salesforce is an advantage

- Ownership of your own clients and prospects, building trusting and lasting relationships.
- Becoming an industry expert as you grown your knowledge and attend competitor events.
- Retention of customers year on year as you build on your relationships and their event ROI.
- Understanding of and involvement in all elements of the event campaign, working closely with marketing and operations to support successful project management and event success.
